Asking Alexandria “Reckless and Relentless”

Rate:  9/10

Some bands begin to lose that “hunger” most young artist have when trying to make it, others tend to get better album to album. Asking Alexandria seems to be the latter, which says something about this young band. They have been touring, writing and recording for over two and a half years and yet have been extremely prolific the entire time. “Reckless and Relentless” is just what it says, it’s fierce and has bravado. R and R starts off just right, it sets the pace from the very beginning and doesn’t let up until about ten songs in. Songs like “Closure” throw in Industrial beats from 1989 and some electronic blast beats from the J-pop genre. This album is a bit less screamo, more metal with a melody and it works well for Asking Alexandria.
